“I feel moved to write to you to express how impressed I am with the impact that the A-life health week activities has had on Harry. He has told me a lot about what happened and what he learnt and is very enthusiastic about trying to be healthier. He has asked to try new salad and vegetables at home and has willingly eaten things that he has previously turned his nose up at. When we went to Pizza Hut last week for a celebration, he ran straight to the salad bar to check out what they had. He then voluntarily, ordered salad for his starter and ate it all! (Something I do regularly but he would never entertain before) He has asked to go for walks. He has discussed with me which foods are good and bad for you and why. In the past we have used a reward chart to encourage him to eat 5 a day – he has asked to reinstate the chart because he now wants to use it to make sure he is getting his 5 a day. A-life’s motivational genius has achieved more in a week than I have managed in 7 years and I am so thankful for it. Please let A-life know they have worked magic on my son.” Parent from St Andrews School, Eastbourne (Years R-2)
“After talking with my daughter about the A-life session she had this morning, I persuaded her to try some fruit. She discovered that she actually likes banana. That was the first piece of raw, fresh fruit she has eaten in four years. I’m delighted – it must have been a great health session. Thank you A-life.” (Parent from Knutsford School, Watford)
“Overall A-life health workshop experience was excellent, we enjoyed the healthy activities with the children and they enjoyed it also.” (Parent from Kings Court School, Windsor)
