Key Stage 2 Fitness Sessions

Very positive on return to classroom and enthusiastic. One child said best PE session ever.–The Hermitage School, Woking. (years 5 )

The Active Circuits fitness is a well-organised circuits fitness session using a mixture of specialist equipment to challenge children’s strength, jumping, balance, fitness, flexibility, coordination in a fun but controlled environment.

Your A-life coach will set up the exercise stations around the room and take the children through their paces in a challenging but great fun 1-2 minutes on each activity. With specialist equipment and exercises, children will try new ways of being active and use different muscle groups, to get the most from the fitness session.

  • Year 3 to Year 8
  • Approx. 40-45 minutes
  • Up to 65 pupils per session (dependent on size of area)

Learning Outcomes

The fitness activities are designed to develop flexibility, aerobic fitness, strength, balance, co-ordination. Some of the exercise activities are simple and easily replicated at home and others involve specialist equipment. Aslo inspiring and exciting children for the Olympics.
