As healthy living is such an important and topical subject, many schools use a mixture of their PSHE, science and PE budget to bring A-life into their school. However, we also find more and more schools asking parents or PTAs for a subsidy, which is often paid with gladness as a parent’s number one priority is the health and well-being of their child.
Here are some statistics we have captured, as food for thought when arranging your funding:
- 57% of schools pay using their school budget,
- 31% use parent subsidy,
- 6% used LA funding,
- 6% use PTAs
